This Pan European direct marketing campaign was designed to encourage IT Network Managers to meet with a 3Com Sales Rep. Incentives were a free copy of Tomb Raider (included in this mailing) and a free PlayStation (sent after the sales meeting). The innovative use of an army surplus Combat Belt as the carrier for the sales material created immediate impact. One pocket housed the Tome Raider game, personalised sales letter, personalised dog tags and "survival-style" map with step-by-step instructions leading to a free PlayStation. The smaller pocket housed a genuine army surplus Outdoor Survival Kit.
